Nexus AI Quick Start Guide
Set up your workspace, connect your first data source, and unlock organizational intelligence in under 5 minutes.
Step 1: Create Your Workspace
Nexus AI operates at the workspace level. A workspace represents your organization, startup, or department. When you sign in for the first time:
- Visit the Nexus AI web application at app.aixentrix.com.
- Sign in using your corporate Google or Microsoft email, or request a secure magic link.
- Give your workspace a name (e.g., "Acme Operations" or "FinTech Labs").
- Select your preferred data retention region and default notification frequency.
Step 2: Connect Communication Channels
Nexus AI acts as an AI Chief of Staff by indexing context across your existing tools. It does not replace Slack or Gmail; it connects to them read-only via enterprise OAuth:
Google Workspace
Connect Gmail and Google Calendar to extract action items, meeting context, and commitments automatically.
Slack Workspace
Install the Nexus AI Slack app to index public channels, capture spontaneous decisions, and trigger AI handovers.
Step 3: Ask Your First Context Question
Once your first integration finishes initial indexing (usually 2–3 minutes for recent threads), open the search bar (Cmd + K or Ctrl + K) and test organizational memory:
"What decisions did we make regarding the Q3 roadmap during yesterday's sync?"
Nexus AI will retrieve the relevant meeting transcript, linked Slack discussions, and extracted action items, presenting a cited summary with direct links to the original sources.
Step 4: Invite Teammates
Collaborative context graphs become stronger with team participation. Navigate to Settings → Team and send invite links to your team leads, project managers, and engineers.
